  • "Etta and Butch Go for a Ride" was awarded Best in Show at the Visual Art Center of New Jersey's Annual Member's Show.  Juror: Andy Foster, Gallery 51, Montclair, NJ. 68 Elm Street, Summit, NJ. June 19, 2009 - July 24, 2009.

  • "George Washington Bridge" was selected for Contemporary Expressions: An International Group Exhibition open to Women Photographers. Pen & Brush Society (16 East 10th Street, NYC), Curator: Daile Kaplan, Director of Photographs, Swann Galleries Inc. May 28 - June 28, 2009.
  • “Aftermath” (28” x 22”) was selected for the 22nd Skylands Regional Juried Art Show.Sussex County Arts and Heritage Exhibition, Newton, NJ.  Juror: Dr. Nancy Einreinhofer, Director of Ben Shahn Galleries, William Paterson University. Awarded the Sussex County College Art  Award. May 9- 30, 2009.
  • "No Simulacrum" was awarded the Salmagundi Club Award in the SCNY Annual Juried Photography and Graphics Exhibition for Non-Members. Salmagundi Club. 47 5th Avenue, New York, New York. June 15-26, 2009. Selection Jury: Claudia Syemour, Sharon Way-Howard, Chris Ivers, John Huftalen, Robert Pillsbury, Harvey Helering.   • "What Fishermen Know" (36" x 12") was selected for an upcoming juried exhibition Quadricentennial Event: Top to Bottom: A Hudson River Arts Map Installation. Edward Hopper House Art Center. Nyack, NY.  June 14 - August 9, 2009. Curator: William Hochhausen.
  • “Kind of Blue” (21” x 21”). 17th Annual Phillips’ Mill Photographic Exhibition. New Hope, PA. May 31 – June 29, 2009. Jurors: Barbara Jaffe, Igor Svibilsky, and Tom DeLorenzo.
  • "No (Wo)Man Is An Island" and "U.S. History" were selected for the juried exhibition, Hard Times/Down Home. Watchung Arts Center. Watchung, NJ.  May 3 to May 29, 2009.  Juror: Paul Pinkman.
  • "Trees at Reservoir, VI" (30” x 20”) was selected for Photowork '09 at the Barrett Art Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  52 out of 1000 works were selected by the juror, Malcolm Daniel, Curator of Photographs, Metropolitan Museum of Art. March 21 – May 2, 2009.
  • "Figment" was selected for In Your Dreams, An International All Media Exhibition curated by Edward Sullivan at Pen & Brush (16 East 10th street). April 4 - 30, 2009.
  • "Aftermath" and "The Place in the Woods" were shown in the Art into Life/Life into Art, an All Media Exhibition curated by Midori Yoshimoto. Pen & Brush Society (16 East 10th Street, NYC), March 7 - 29, 2009. Link to Art into Life/Life into Art Show.
  • "Voyeur" one 1st Place in the Photographic Art, "No Simulacrum" won 1st place in Landscape, and "Faith on the Street" won 3rd Place in Portraits in the St. Catherine of Bologna Art Show. Ringwood, NJ, March 13-15, 2009.
  • "Circa 1967," "Faith on the Street" and "No (Wo)Man Is an Island" were shown at the Pen & Brush: First Response, an All Media Exhibition curated by Jerelle Kraus. The exhibit asked artists to imagine the USA with Barack Obama as President. The show will run at Pen & Brush Society (16 East 10th Street, NYC). February 12 - March 1, 2009.   • Solo Exhibition:"Facing West: Portraits." Ringwood Library, Ringwood, NJ: January 23, 2009 - March 1, 2009.
  • I was a top award winner (4th place) in the Manhattan Arts International: Celebrate the Healing Power of Art 2008 juried online gallery.  "Aftermath," "Figment," and "Morning Light" were selected for inclusion in the show and awarded 4th place.  The show was juried by  Jane St. Lifer, Edward Rubin, and Renee Phillips.
  • "Morning Light" and "Aftermath" appeared in the nationally juried show, Continuum. George Segal Gallery. Montclair State University. Montclair, NJ. Juror: Patterson Sims, Director, Montclair Art Museum. March 10 – April 11, 2009.
  • "Faith on the Street" was selected as Best in Show and 1st Place in Portraits in the West Milford Camera Club 18th Annual Photography Contest and Exhibition. "Botanical IX" and "Red Tree" were also awarded first place ribbons in their respective categories (flowers and landscape). "Morning Light" and "Nothing Gold Can Stay" each won 2nd place ribbons.
  • "December" was in the juried exhibition, Arts Connections 5 at the George Segal Gallery at Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ. January 15 - February 15, 2009. Juror: Patricia G. Selden, CEO of Selden Associates, Inc.
  • "No Simulacrum” and “Trees at Reservoir, VI" have been accepted into Under the Influence: Ansel Adams and His Legacy. National Juried Show. Avenue 9 Gallery. Chico, CA. October 17 – November 22, 2008. "No Simulacrum" was awarded the Juror's Commendation.
  • "Sky Breakage at 9/11" won Best in Show. 1st Annual Photography Exhibition/Wayne Arts Association. Hawthorne, NJ. Sept. 20 - Oct. 18, 2008.
  • "No Simulacrum" won Best in Show. RMAA 43rd Annual Fall Open Juried Exhibition, Ringwood, NJ Sept. 21 - October 17, 2008.
  • “Study in White VI,” “Study in White VII,” and “Study in White XII" have been accepted into the 15th Annual National Juried Small Matters of Great Importance at the Edward Hopper House Art Center in Nyack, NY.  September 28 – October 28th, 2008.   • "Rhizomes I: Winter (re)Called" won 2nd place for black and white photography at the Old Greenwich Art Show in July, 2008
  • "Trees at Reservoir, VI" won the Award of Excellence for landscape and "The Carnivalesque" won the Award of Excellence for abstract at the Ringwood Manor Arts Show in July, 2008.
  • "No Simulacrum" won the Merit Award in the 200-piece Member Show at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in June 2008. The show was judged by Edwin Ramoran, Director of Exhibitions and Programs at Aljira, a Center for Contemporary Art, Newark, New Jersey.
